Water is the essence of life.
Yet if we’re drinking bottled water, 45% of it comes from municipal water sources and apparently those sources are in some of the highest drought ridden areas.(1)
We’re drinking treated tap water and paying a hefty price for it.
If we’re going to drink tap water anyway, why not filter it from our own faucets?
That’s what I started doing a few years ago. I’m currently using a Culligan FM-15A Advanced Faucet Filter.
Is it the best? Well, I’ll be honest, it’s the best fit for my old-as-the-hills faucet and my budget. 🙂
Yet there are so many different ways to filter water that if I had a bigger budget and the space I’d go with either an under the sink model or an Ovopur. You can see both of those, plus 4 more water filter solutions that Maxwell Ryan of Apartment Therapy has tested over the years.
